Wanaka River Journeys is a half day wilderness jet boating adventure beneath spectacular views of Mount Aspiring and her Glaciers. Like rally cars on water our jet boats use sliding turns and speeds of up to 80kmph to navigate this shallow and braided river system. This is a jet boating sensation like no other with the only jet boat company to see Mount Aspiring and her Glaciers. A highlight is the remote guided walk into an ancient beech forest, a great opportunity to experience real New Zealand wilderness. More than just a jet boat ride, this is a journey into the cultural heritage of our people and our land. Summer departure times: 10am and 1pm Allow: 4 hours For those who want an even MORE exciting experience and an up-close look at the Glaciers, there is an optional helicopter flight from the jet boat and high altitude snow landing.
