U-Fly Wanaka offers you a thrilling New Zealand flight experience where you take control! U-Fly Adventures offers a 'hands on' experience to visiting tourists who enjoy a scenic flight, while taking the controls, themselves, accompanied by either Ruth or Wayne who do the take off and landing.
Lake Wanaka is a short drive from Queenstown and a great place to stay after Franz Josef or Fox Glacier.
No previous experience is necessary, and all U-Fly customers go away with a flight certificate, an option of a DVD of their flight and a grin from ear to ear! Bring sunglasses and don't forget your camera!
The Flight Experience
We operate 7 days a week, and offer 5 Tour options, from 20 minutes through to 50 minutes of unforgettable beauty and stunning views of Mt Aspiring World Heritage Park and Lake Wanaka.
The U-Fly adventure begins with a complimentary transfer to and from town if required. A short, 3 minute briefing on the plane. Once the plane is airborne the client is invited onto the controls, and it is up the client to do as little or as much as they like.
It is very easy with no experience necessary. The flight is best described as a scenic flight with an opportunity to take control and fly the plane. There is a video onboard that can capture a fantastic memory in the form of a fully edited 5 minute DVD.
