Rotorua Rafting offers a great half-day whitewater rafting excursion out of Rotorua. Raft the Kaituna River and its 7m waterfall - Raft over the edge of the world! The Kaituna River boasts the highest commercially rafted waterfall on the planet.
Don't be scared, with no experience required almost anyone can do it.
Dressed in the highest standard equipment and being guided by World medaling raft guides and World Champion Safety kayakers, this is the ultimate half-day excursion.
Operating from October through till May, normal trip times are 9am, 12pm, and 2pm although we can go with the flow to suit your needs. We also provide a courtesy shuttle from central Rotorua.
Who can take part?
Anyone can come along, you don't need any experience! There is an age limit: 10 years half river trip, 13 years and over full river trip (must fit safety equipment).
What to Bring
We provide wetsuit, booties, helmet, buoyancy aids, Grade 5 rapids action and a good time, so just bring your smile, screams, togs and towel.
Location
Rotorua Rafting has the self proclaimed best rafting base ever. With the ability to hear the thundering sound of the Kaituna River and smell the aroma of fresh coffee and muffins it is easy to think you have found your Eden, but we just call it work.
Located 20mins from central Rotorua at 759 SH33 we are right beside the Okere Falls Store. After your trip make sure you take the time to celebrate life with great coffee or german beer next door at the Store.
