You will be met and collected from outside the Tauranga Port gates and taken for a sight seeing journey to Rotorua.
First up we travel past the Mt Maunganui beaches,stop for a photo then to Te Puke 'The Kiwifruit Capital of the World' where we visit a kiwifruit orchard
Through the Pine forests to Rotorua where we go to Te Puia Maori Arts and Culture Centre, This is where we see up close Pohutu, the tallest Geyser in the Southern Hemisphere, see mudpools,boiling mineral water Kiwibirds The Maori Culture Show. We will be at Tepuia about two hrs.
A drive through the Government Garden see The Rotorua lake, the Historic Rotorua Bath house and a visit to the Polynesian Spa
A visit to Kuirau Park, see boiling mudpools and the Hot Lake
A stop for Lunch (cost not included) and other attractions are Okeri Falls Hamurana Springs and the Redwoods
Other attractions not included but are an option are
Agrodome, The Skyline Gondolas and Luge, Rainbow Springs

I will have informed you the meeting time,usually 8.30 -9.00am,
Then once we are all in our 12 seater comfortable, air-conditioned mini-coach, we will begin our day, I will guide you and commentate during the day and we will have plenty of toilet stops and lots of photo shoots. There is chilled bottled on board for your use.
Drive past the Mt Maunganui Beaches, regarded as the best surf beach in N.Z.
We then travel through Te Puke ( The kiwifruit capital of the World) and stop at a private kiwifruit orchard and get up close under the vines, great photos
After we then travel through the Radiata pine forests to Rotorua, First lake, Lake Rotoiti and visit Okeri Falls,the tallest commercially rafted waterfall in the Southern Hemisphere and the amazing California Redwoods
Te Puia Maori Arts and Culture Centre, in the heart of the Te Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve, is our main attraction today and entry fees are included in your ticket
We will see Pohutu (The tallest Geyser in the Southern Hemisphere)
Boiling mudpools and mineral water pools and kiwi birds, The brand new NZ Maori Arts and Craft Centre where there are Carving and weaving displays and then The Maori Culture Concert, all included
We will be at Te Puia for about 2 hours though this could be extended if lunch is taken at the new Café just opened, although there are plenty of other lunch options in Rotorua
We then drive through Rotorua City, past Lake Rotorua, through the Government Gardens where we see the historic Rotorua Bath house, Rachells Pool (212 degrees boiling alkaline mineral water), the Polynesian Spa Pool where I am able to take you right in and see the mineral pools, renown for the treatment of Arthritis and Rheumatism.
Then to Kuirau Park to see more, but different boiling mud, and the Hot Lake
There are other sites to see but I can't tell you every secret.Maybe Hamurana Springs or the Adventure Park
or maybe the Blue and Green Lakes or the Skyline Luge
The beauty of my tour is that I am flexible to what we see and at a pace that suits you.You will have a good day
Our day is 6 to 7 hours and I usually travel back to Tauranga a different route to show off other country side and a bit of Tauranga City
Always back in plenty of time before your ship departure.
