Welcome to Kawarau Jet, based on the shores of scenic Lake Rotorua, New Zealand. If ever a tourism operator lived up to its catch-cry of speed, spins and adrenaline, it’s K-Jet. You’ll only have to look at the smiley faces of passengers who’ve embarked from the big yellow boat to know they’ve had an awesome experience. People of all ages and large groups are welcome to step aboard and cruise with us across the waters of Lake Rotorua.
Speed, Spins and Adrenaline Tour
This is a fantastic half hour trip filled with adrenaline pumping action, and one of the best things to do in Rotorua! Take this classic blood pumping thrill ride in our sleek yellow boat and take in four historical landmarks on the way. You’ll pass by Mokoia Island, the Sacred Island and over the world renowned Sulphur Lake.
This is the very best way to experience our unpredictable and beautiful Lake Rotorua and this awesome trip is available for all ages. Under 5’s ride for free. Wet weather canopies are available and a courtesy pick up & drop off within the city can also be arranged.
Our drivers go through a rigorous training programme with a nationally recognized LLO certification, awarded by Maritime New Zealand. Jetty and office staff members are fluent with every part of the business, individually capable of handling any situations and enquiries.
Kawarau Jet is based at Memorial Drive on Rotorua’s scenic Lakefront, and is just a short stroll from Fenton Street and Rotorua’s central city. We are very much looking forward to welcoming you here!
