The Queenstown Wine Trail offers a fun, personalised and friendly sightseeing wine tour of vineyards and wineries in New Zealand's foremost wine regions - Queenstown and Central Otago.
We offer daily wine tours and private tours, on demand, exploring the fast growing wine area of Gibbston Valley, and selected Central Otago wineries around Bannockburn.
Travelling further into the Central Otago region on our Private Bannockburn Tour, we stop at the unique 'Big Picture' experience where you can explore the aroma room and enjoy a virtual wine flight. Wineries we may visit include Carrick, Mt Difficulty, Akarua, Olssen's, Wooing Tree, Aurum, Rockburn, Central Otago Wine Company and Felton Road.
The Central Otago wine region has become especially well-known for its award winning Pinot Noir. Other locally produced varieties include Riesling, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Methode Traditional.

Daily Tours
Enjoy an afternoon exploring some of the award winning wineries in the Queenstown region. Queenstown Wine Trail have hosted local winery tours for the past 12 years, so our well-established relationships with local wineries and our experienced staff guarantee a fun, friendly and memorable wine tour. Our Queenstown winery tours operate as small groups (maximum of 22 people) and are suitable for first time tasters or wine connoisseurs.
Private Tours by appointment
Our friendly and relaxed Private Tours are ideally suited for a couple, family or small group of friends who want to explore the wine region together on a personalised wine tour. Our well-established relationships with local wineries, and our reputation within the Central Otago and Queenstown wine industry, ensures we deliver a quality, professional and unique experience for our guests. Our clients return with a great knowledge of the region's wine industry, having spent 'behind the scenes' time with the teams who actually make the wine.
Combination Tours
We have created some combination tours for those who do not have a lot of time in Queenstown yet want to experience as much as possible. Join us for a relaxed day visiting some of Queenstown's best loved attractions. These may include wine and jet boats, helicopters and wine and even a garden tour and wine combo.
