Flying Fish Design store is located in Paihia in New Zealand’s stunning Bay of Islands and was opened in November 2003. Our aim was to showcase some of New Zealands most creative designers and artisans and provide a shopping experience that would appeal to overseas visitors and New Zealanders alike.
"Fun, funky, functional and stylishly different" best describes our very popular Paihia design store in the fabulous Bay of Islands, New Zealand but with the inclusion of an art space in our new store you would now have to add "with a touch of class".
Flying Fish Design is open 7 days a week, and you will find beautiful, unique and innovative gifts and art inspired by and created in New Zealand and from around the globe. Funky, ceramic wall art, exquisite hand crafted glass pieces, an extensive range of contemporary silver, gold, paua and fashion jewellery, luxurious leather handbags, cute gifts for babies and children and much, much more. Come and enjoy shopping with us and you will find out for yourself why our store has become such a hit with locals and visitors alike!
Due to its uniqueness Flying Fish Design store has proven to be very popular with both locals and visitors to this major tourist destination with many customers making further purchases after they return home.
We have recently relocated and the store now includes an Art Space featuring some of New Zealand’s finest glass, ceramics and contemporary art. With the introduction of our on line shopping it will be much simpler for our more distant customers to continue shopping with us.
We have always taken pride in our excellent customer service and we intend to maintain the same high standards with our on line customers as we do in our store. Our team is comprised by Trevor Grass and Gillian Campbell (owners) and three exceptional staff – Joanne, Patricia and Adi.
BPurchasing Options/B
We understand that our customers will have different preferences for shopping so we offer three methods of making a purchase. Purchases can be made by phone, by email, or by using our excellent Online Shopping Cart. For orders being shipped within New Zealand we will package and ship your item free of charge.
If you would like your purchase gift wrapped, complimentary gift wrapping is our pleasure. Just let us know if the gift is for a male, female, boy or girl and it will be beautifully wrapped with an appropriate paper and ribbon.
