With some of the warmest waters in New Zealand, the Bay of Islands is rich in marine life year all year round. This half day eco cruise seeks out the many playful dolphin pods which are resident within the sheltered islands of the region and includes an insight into the historically significant region, from the earliest Maori explores to the bustling lawless harbour of late 1800's.
The helpful crew share their local history and ecology. See a variety of marine wildlife including Whales, Seals, Dolphins, Penguins, and other sea and bird life as you travel through the Bay. Join the crew in scanning the waters in search of those tell tale splashes and jumps, before jumping in yourself to swim with a pod of dolphins! Snorkels, masks, fins and wetsuits provided.
Dolphin swimming option is an additional $30.00 to the cruise cost which can be booked online.
