Twilight Zip Wine Dine - Oneroa, New Zealand

Twilight Zip, Wine & Dine is the ultimate Waiheke Island afternoon – combining a zipline and native forest experience with relaxed food and wine at two of Waiheke’s most spectacular vineyards.

Following your scenic ferry journey to Waiheke Island, an EcoZip guide will collect them for a tiki tour of Waiheke en route to our Trig Hill site. Their zipline experience soars first over our working vineyard and then over and into lush, ancient, native forest. A gentle walk back through the bush with our guides will build up an appetite – and probably a thirst – for what’s next!
After ziplining, you will head to pretty Onetangi valley for wine tastings at award-winning Stonyridge Vineyard. Here you can relax on the deck or wander in the olive grove you discover the wines that helped put Waiheke firmly on the viticultural map.
Later you will ascend to Batch Winery, which is blessed with the island’s best views over the Hauraki Gulf. As the sun dips behind the backdrop of the Waitakere Ranges metropolitan Auckland starts to glow in the sunset like a million candles burning in the gathering darkness. You will enjoy a tour of Batch’s unique gravity fed wine-making facility, alfresco wine tastings and then a fabulous 2course, a la carte dinner. A short coach journey back to Matiatia follows, before their ferry back to Auckland’s glittering skyline.
