Ski Shuttle Let the ski shuttle take you right to the slopes. Ski your heart out (or until the fields close) and then the shuttle will return you from the mountain to your pick up point. You don’t have to worry about driving, parking or car safety issues.
Tongariro Crossing Walkers Shuttle Take a guided walk to the summit of Mt Ruapehu and see New Zealand’s largest active Volcanic Crater Lake, at 2670 meters.
Blyth Hut and Waitonga Falls This is a stunning 2 hour return walk to the Waitonga Falls and onto the Old Blyth Hut with awesome views of Mt Ruapehu. Or you can extend your walk down the Old Blyth Track and on down the Mountain Road through the Rimu Forest finishing at Ohakune. Approximately six hours
Central Volcanic Loop Tour This is a seven-hour informative guided tour around the Central Volcanic Plateau Region.
For those who join us at National Park or Whakapapa, we continue our tour back to your location.
For this tour there is a minimum number of four persons required.
Ohakune Night Life Shuttle When you enjoy the Ohakune Winter Nightlife make sure you catch the Matai Night Shuttle. It runs in a half hour from the Junction end of town to the main shopping or bar area of town.
This service operates only during the ski season, from mid June to mid October.
When you are riding on the shuttle, winter or summer, you can be assured you’re in good hands because Matai shuttles service is a Department of Conservation approved operator. Our drivers are friendly and experienced and they have more than enough stories to keep you entertained on the road.
