What better way to experience stunning New Zealand than on board a yacht with the beautiful blue beneath you and the fresh, clear air in your sails!
At Westwinds you can charter a yacht, with Skipper included, and receive first class instruction for up to 5 people. Just let us know what you would like to do and where you would like to go, or take advantage of our local knowledge to discover some of the best sites and sailing in the Southern hemisphere.
You can also book as an individual and make new friends, the cost for an all inclusive package is just $1250 for 5 days.

Enjoy scenic cruising, helpful instruction and good food with your family or friends. Whether you choose Tasman Bay or the Marlborough Sounds, you will enjoy one of the most beautiful and diverse cruising grounds in the Southern hemisphere.
The duration of the charter is up to you but we ask that you start on a Monday morning. You will learn at your own pace and at the end of the course you will be confident to handle a yacht on your own or with friends.
Your instructor knows the coast and will take you to quiet anchorages where you can enjoy a BBQ or, if you choose, enjoy the restaurants and wineries on route. All food on board is provided but alcohol is at your discretion.
