We are based in Christchurch - the gateway to tourism in the South Island of New Zealand... famous for its soaring mountains, extensive plains, forests, fiords, rivers and crystal clear lakes.
Our high quality walking trips range in duration from three to thirteen days and are a mix of the best elements that the South Island can offer, at a level that everyone can handle. An important plus to taking a trip with us is that everything is organised for you. Our tours are fully guided and all luggage is transported.
The Franz Josef Trail
Is a four day guided walking tour in the spectacular Te Wahipounamu South West New Zealand World Heritage Area.
Experience the natural beauty and history of the West Coast of the South Island. Witness dramatic ice formations at Franz Joself and Fox glaciers; enjoy historical gold trails, wondrous coastal beaches, captivating lakes and luxuriant West Coast rainforests...and relax in the evenings in the quaint alpine villages of Franz Josef and Fox Glacier.
The Mesopotamia High Country Walk
A awe inspiring four day fully guided walking tour, which incorporates Mesopotamia and Mount Potts high country stations. You will experience soaring landscapes, snow capped mountain ranges and wide open tussock covered tundras.
The West Coast Trail
A four day walking adventure that takes you on a discovery of the Arthur's Pass alpine area through to exotic rainforests of the wild West Coast.
Enjoy walking on the high country station of Flock Hill near Arthur's Pass (where the Narnia film The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was filmed) through to the West Coast's beautiful rain forests and view the spectacular Pancake Rocks and blowholes at the village of Punakaiki. You will experience a diverse range of rugged and dramatic landscapes including tussock lands, alpine bush, rainforests and sub-tropical bush
You have the option of returning to Christchurch via the TranzAlpine Railway -rated 'one of the top six train rides in the world'
The Queen Charlotte Walk
The four day guided Queen Charlotte Walk is a unique and exciting way to explore the treasure that is known as the Marlborough Sounds.
The area is world-renowned for its breathtaking coastal views, pristine waters, bush-clad shorelines and abundance of native flora and fauna.
As you walk along the 71km track from Ship Cove to Anakia, you will see historical landmarks and the wonderful variety of native bush...in one of the most beautiful parts of New Zealand.

The Coast to Coast Trail - Eight Day Tour
The walking trail is a wonderful way to experience the different scenery and geological formations on both sides of the Southern Alps of New Zealand. The trip takes you from the East Coast to the West Coast... with the option of returning to Christchurch, via the famous and fascinating TranzAlpine Railway.
