The Wine
Set among heavenly gardens with a backdrop of the magnificent vineyard, Herzog Winery is a combination of pleasures for the senses! Appreciate the bouquet of 5 star wines such as the deep, dark cherry-coloured 2006 Montepulciano, a voluptuous yet delicate wine infused with the heavy ripeness of cranberry and plum, the Burgundian style Pinot Noir, the Bordeaux style Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon "Spirit of Marlborough", all belong to some of New Zealand's most age worthy, finely balance wines of great complexity.
The highly sought after small quantities of Pinot Gris, Viognier and Chardonnay are available only on allocation, unless your follow the pilgrims to Marlborough, New Zealand to enjoy the rare wines at their luxury restaurant which has become a mecca for gourmet all over the world.

Should you wish to finish your dining experience in style, we have the most comprehensive cigar list in New Zealand and an array of digestives from all over the world!
The Bistro is a great way to enjoy our handcrafted boutique wines and amazing cuisine prepared by our highly acclaimed chefs in a relaxed and casual atmosphere.
The stylish cellar door lounge, verandas or out in the garden is an ideal setting for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful scenery of Marlborough! Overlooking the vineyard and mountains beyond you may loose all sense of time!

Accommodation
Relax in the ambience of Rimu Cottage, a cosy retreat among the seclusion of the vines, offered exclusively to our restaurant guests!
The vineyard cottage has a special charm due to its history on the estate and thanks to Therese’s soft touch with the décor. Interior features include antiques, original paintings and a fireplace. Books and a selection of DVD movies add to your relaxed entertainment. Indulge in a five-star haven of luxury with a supreme king size bed and beautifully soft and lustrous cotton sateen bed linens.
Spoil yourself for breakfast! Our chefs will prepare a breakfast basket with home made goodies for you to enjoy in the privacy of your cottage! You may like to cook a hot breakfast of bacon and organic eggs from our free range chickens. A wide selection of teas are also available in your kitchen.
The cottage is non smoking but you may indulge on the generous size veranda.
5 min from Blenheim Airport. Helicopter landing space is provided in front of cottage.
