Learn how to catch waves on this day trip from Auckland. Your one day tour is all about a fun safe day at the beach. Surf lessons for beginners and surf boards specifically designed for the new surfer are provided. You'll learn the fundamentals of surfing and surf safety. Included in the day is 2 x 2 hour surf lessons where the instructor works closely with you to achieve the ultimate goal of standing up! You'll be picked up from your centrally located Auckland accommodation and travel to either the west or east coast looking for the best surf conditions. Surf locations maybe include Muriwai Piha, Coromandel, Raglan and Mangawhai. The boards are very stable and buoyant making catching and standing on waves a breeze. Also available are performance boards for the more experienced surfers, board sizes range from 6' to 10'.
