Whitianga Enjoy a relaxing hot thermal swim at the luxurious "Lost Spring" geothermal resort. Go ocean kayaking amongst the stunning volcanic coastline, through sea caves including the magnificent Cathedral Cove or dig a hole in the sand at the world famous hot water beach at low tide to create your own mini hot water spa!
Whakatane Fish at sea alongside an active marine volcano, take a swim, a walk, picnic with fish and chips on superb Ohope beach or continue on to the stunning Ohiwa Harbour and oyster farm to collect a few dozen freshly picked luscious Pacific oysters to enjoy with a cold crisp bottle of New Zealand Marlborough sauvignon blanc.
Rotorua The Tourism Award Winning Agrodome Show is a must-do activity as is Rainbow Springs Nature Park showcasing New Zealand's native flora and fauna. Other activities include the bubbling mud pools, spectacular hot water geysers and boiling springs of Whakarewarewa thermal Maori village.
