After meeting your friendly local guide, we’ll go on a hunt to find the best of the best, the latest and tastiest Kiwi brews that are rocking Auckland’s palate. Up until just 10 years ago there wasn’t a single true craft beer for sale anywhere in the country. That’s right, anywhere!! Sad times indeed. Enter the private home brewer, a glorious creature, usually best found in New Zealand toiling away in his or her backyard or garage…

We’ll drop in on the city’s coolest, boldest and newest hangouts to enjoy some great New Zealand beer and Auckland hospitality. We’ll visit not just the better known independent breweries that are taking the place by storm but also the out-of-the-way cheeky tasting spots that locals know best.

We’ll have a beer and a yarn with the brewers and learn about New Zealand’s love affair with the amber nectar. And boy can Kiwis talk about this stuff. You’ll hear how far the industry has come in such a short time and how some now dream of Sauvignon Blanc-esque world domination!

On this tour we’ll only take you to places that serve up locally made and brewed beer and that's a promise; we’re proud of our own stuff and we want to show it off.

By now you'll be getting to grips with the changing face of brewing in Auckland, your guide will let you in on the whereabouts of other places you can carry on your craft beer extravaganza, or if you’ve had enough for one night, he or she can point you in the direction of your accommodation.
