Travel to Christchurch and experience one of New Zealand's leading Craft beer destinations! With a maximum of 11 passengers this is a small group excursion combining a city and Banks Peninsula tour with a craft beer experience second to none. See the brewing process up close and taste a range of beer styles and maybe even discover a new favourite as our passengers often do. You will also be guided through Christchurch and witness a burgeoning new city establishing its new identity. All beer tastings and a pizza lunch are included

You will be met by your driver guide at the wharf in Akaroa at 9:30am and set out on a 90 minute drive along Banks Peninsula to the exciting city of Christchurch. Your guide is an expert on all things Christchurch and Canterbury and will keep you well informed of the progress being made on the innovative rebuild after the series of devastating earthquakes in 2010 and 2011 gave us an opportunity to create a vibrant new city. Christchurch is also home to a growing Craft brewing industry with over 20 breweries utilizing our excellent water sourced in the Southern alps, malt from the Canterbury plains and hops also grown in the South Island. You will visit 3 of our best in Three Boys Brewing, Cassels & Sons and Wigram Brewing Co and taste 4 beers at each brewery! You will also be treated to the best wood fired pizza in the city at Cassels & Sons The Brewery. Return to the wharf in time to explore Akaroa before your last tender. What better way to see this exciting new city than to have a few beers along the way?
