The thrill at the helm when the wind pipes up and the leeward rail's in the water with the bow wave hissing in front; enjoy this truly sensory personal experience. It's safe, sensational and not too difficult. Experience REAL sailing around the harbour for 2½ hours. Try your hand at steering, sail trim, grinding, just like the Americas Cup crew, or simply sit back and let the experienced crew do it for you. You'll be in 'wild' company; look out for the rare Hector's dolphins (the world's smallest) or spot the white-flippered penguins bobbing across the waves. Sea life is drawn to play in the pressure wave created by the unique shape of Manutara's hull, and the silence as she glides through the water under sail alone. Most often you'll be surprised to hear penguins calling to each other and dolphins breathing before you see them!
