Trek Global is the new, modern, friendly, fun backpackers in the heart of Wellington. Whether you're en-route to an adrenaline driven destination or fancy a few days to explore the culture capital of New Zealand come and stay with us at Trek and we will make it your home for the night or week!

Trek Global Backpackers is centrally located just a foot step away from all of Wellington's attractions, in no time you will be hitting all the cafes, bars and shops that the Arts and Culture capital has to offer.

Choose from Twin or double en-suites rooms, singles, 4 and 6 bed dorms, a luxury Girls only floor, and the Family Room. Contact us to enquire about discounted group stays and weekly rates.
Facilities
Trek Global is loaded with some top class amenities, whether you want to chill out and relax, get creative in the kitchen or get sociable with fellow backpackers check out what we have to offer. Four communal kitchens each equipped to a standard that would make any top chef happy. All kitchens have individual lockable cupboards too.
Make use of the organic herb garden to garnish and enhance your culinary delights! There's a BBQ area and outside patios. Cheap, traditional kiwi roasts are available every night and continental breakfasts are just $3.
Free iPads for use while you stay! There is 24hr high speed wireless internet and internet café, DVD hire, TV lounges with SKY TV as well as communal TVs with SKY on each floor, we also have a fantastic library and book swap.
Show off your skills and shoot some pool in the downstairs lounge or hire one of our top range mountain bikes and talk to the Trek staff who will recommend the best routes for you whatever your experience.
Security is one of our main priorities; we provide security lockers in rooms, 24hr reception and electronic key access. Onsite secure parking is available, and there's free secure luggage storage at our reception if you're arriving early or flying out late.
We have full laundry facilities so you don't have to go into town looking like you have just slept in town!
