"That lodge on the lakefront"...Wanaka Lakehouse, is a stunning, luxurious, ecologically pure lodge on the edge of Lake Wanaka with breath-taking views. Imagine the ambiance of a hand carved timber interior sumptuously furnished with antiques, leather, Persian rugs and art originals, all in the same room as a 5 tonne rock fireplace / pizza oven AND a stunningly beautiful heated swimming pool; emerald tiled and chemical free with strong swim jets for training, and ideally designed to be child safe. The House Our first priority in the design and construction here was to build a lodge that would very positively & scientifically support health. This was achieved by strictly following "building biology" principles using design, materials, location, aesthetics and comfort. Wanaka Lakehouse could truly be called "chemical-free" & we have used shielded electrical wiring to reduce the effects of electro-magnetic fields throughout the lodge for a relaxing stay & your "best sleep ever", especially so with our "Purist" latex mattresses, fine cotton sheets & woollen duvets. Wanaka Lakehouse is a dream environment for sensitised individuals & allergy sufferers &, actually, for everyone.. Guest Accommodation Wanaka Lakehouse is a luxuriously unique lodge that can be booked as a B&B or Lodge Exclusive which consists of two main accommodation areas. Pool Level This is the ground floor and contains the gourmet kitchen, lounge area with 5 tonne Tulukivi soapstone fireplace with pizza oven, dining area, sauna and indoor chemical free (and child safe) lap pool with swim jets, ensuite Super-king "Master Bedroom" and ensuite Queen "Four-poster Bedroom" with private sitting area. There is also a washing machine and drier, a variety of large outdoor enclosed decks, landscaped BBQ area, outdoors spa and spacious games room complete with art area for painting and sculpture, and a large variety of games, puzzles, pool and ping-pong table, foosball etc. Sky Level This is the second/top floor and consists of a conservatory/dining room area with single daybed, grand living area with kitchenette and single bed behind curtains, 2 decks, luxury tiled bathroom and Queen "Sky Bedroom" with children's twin bedroom opening off this. Booking the Sky Level on a B&B basis means that you have exclusive use of this upper floor and share the downstairs pool and other facilities with any resident "Pool Level" B&B guests.
