Motel Studio Units Sleeping up to two people, each Studio Unit has its own private balcony, and is perfectly positioned for stunning views of Lake Wanaka and the snow-capped mountains of Mount Aspiring National Park. Designed for your comfort and enjoyment you will settle in quickly knowing that everything you need is at hand. Featuring a queen-size double bed (two of the units have twin beds), comprehensive kitchenette with fridge, microwave and double hotplates, full bathroom, and Sky TV. Underfloor heating provides additional comfort on those wintry days. Two and Three-bedroom Apartments Whether you are travelling as a couple, or with friends or family, the apartments offer plenty of space and comfort for all. You will find everything you need to ensure a warm and rewarding stay. The apartments feature separate bedrooms, a full kitchen and generous living areas, accommodating up to six people. Enjoy a glass of wine by your own gas fire or relax on your deck to enjoy stunning views over Lake Wanaka and the mountains of Mount Aspiring National Park. All apartments come complete with a fully equipped kitchen, separate bedrooms with electric blankets on all beds, dining and lounge areas, Sky TV, a log burner, bathroom with shower/bath, hairdryer and under floor heating. A glass sliding door in lounge area opens to large deck area with outdoor furniture. Wanaka and Things to Do Whatever your interest, our knowledgable staff at The Moorings will be able to advise you on what are the best activities for you, and we will be able to make arrangements for all your needs. Sip wine at the local vineyard on the lake-shore; spend a day or three fishing one of the great river valleys; up the ante with a little adventure; canyoning, climbing, river surfing, sky-diving; ski your heart out all winter long; or simply idle the days away swimming, cafe-cruising and relaxing. June to September is ski season.
