This cottage hostel is situated at the top of town with great views, fabulous sunsets and immediate access to mountain bike tracks and bush walks. The hostel is ideal for unwinding or escaping the crowded cities. We have free bikes, games, books, guitar, plus herbs and spices for creative cooking.

Te Aroha is a picturesque Edwardian spa town nestled at the base of Mt Te Aroha - the ‘Mountain of Love’ in Maori legend. Hot mineral soda water spas, massages and the world’s only hot soda geyser in The Domain. Visit the Swiss sausage factory or the oldest pipe organ in the Southern Hemisphere, play golf or fish for trout.
