Built to last in the 1870's, Carlconna House is a fully restored Colonial House, retaining much of the original charm of polished wooden floors, banisters and furniture. You will be able to relax here as hosts Tony and Kath have created an environment of comfort and warmth, not only in the decor of the house but in their miraculous garden, (a true wonder to behold!), their delectable home cooking and their open and gracious hospitality. You will fall in love with Carlconna and the breathtaking region of Golden Bay.

Carlconna House is ideal for groups of up to eight people wishing to explore Golden Bay's great day walks, the Art Galleries and working studios, the amazing restaurants and outstanding beaches.

Off Season Special Rates!

There are special off season rates for block bookings of the entire house on a per night basis. We suggest you make up a couple of carloads and head for the Bay. Take advantage of our central position and have a truly great experience.
For $200 per night until the end of November, this is an opportunity not to be missed!

Accommodation

Kath and Tony offer exceptional homestay type accommodation with fully made up beds, continental breakfast, home made jams and broadband, all included in the price.

Carlconna House has 2 Queen Rooms, 1 Double and 1 Twin Room available ranging from $30 per person to $70 for a couple in our ensuited, Balcony Queen Room.

Your Hosts

Tony and Kath are a fun loving, adventurous, couple with a passion for gardening and their old house. Kath came from Oregon 35 years ago and Tony is a dinkum Kiwi.

Tony has operated tours in Golden Bay and will be able to help you find those special places and to make the most of your stay here.
