River Valley - pioneering the Adventure Lodge concept in New Zealand. Imagine an award-winning Adventure Lodge situated in stunning scenery. A world of great outdoor experiences and fun at your door step. This is River Valley!! River Valley is an Adventure Lodge and Resort, but also much more than that. It is a place that is our home, where we have put down deep roots. It is a place where we feel that the spirit in which we do something, is an essential part of any experience. Experiences that are creative, where you feel uplifted, where we can share our stories, and you can share yours. At our core we are an adventure company: we go rafting, horse back riding, inflatable kayaking, and hiking. However there are plenty of adventure companies. What makes us different? You, our clients make us different. This will be our 29th year of operation, and during that time we have had many people come through the door, some up to a dozen times. Thanks for that. Facilities First opened in 1987 as accommodation for white water rafters, River Valley Lodge has been consistently upgraded over the years. The Lodge has a restaurant that serves predominantly locally grown produce, while our bar has an extensive range of New Zealand beers and wines. Deluxe Guest Rooms We have 8 deluxe rooms, tastefully decorated and situated either in the gardens or by the river. Each has its own private bathroom and are individually designed to fit in with the natural environment. The perfect place to rest after a day of activity! We also have several bunk rooms which are ideal for children, and for extra accommodation if you are planning a family reunion or wedding. | ||||||
