This is a newly developed extension to our primary farming objectives. Whilst we have other ideas in mind to add to this retreat, our beginning has been focussed on your comfort and enjoyment.
The area around and including Mokai Station has long been a magnet for painters, walkers and those who are passionate about nature and the great outdoors.
Local amenities cater for all ages and we guarantee an experience like no other. The cottage whilst located on our working farm is fully self contained and very private.

The Cottage
Consisting of 3 bedrooms, one queen, one double and one single, the cottage has been recently refurbished to a comfortable standard. With homely furnishings, an open fireplace, enough modern conveniences to keep you as connected to reality as you wish and breathtaking scenery all around you, Mokai Station Cottage Retreat will transport you to a New Zealand natural holiday you will never forget.
There are few experiences as invigorating as being out in the countryside under a canopy of stars on a still night.
Mokai Station Cottage Retreat affords unbeatable views on a cloudless night.
The cottage is therefore equipped with a telescope so that you can take advantage of this unique opportunity.
Torches are supplied because at night - it is VERY Dark.
Explore the Ruahine Forest Park practically at the doorstep, raft the Rangatikei River, take the kids fishing, there is so much to do in the area! And at the end of an exciting day, or a relaxing one for that matter, snuggle in front of the fire, read a book or simply get an early night at your home away from home - Mokai Station Cottage Retreat!
