Sandy Loch Cottage is situated right at the lakes edge just 15 minutes from the heart of Rotorua - the ultimate tourist destination! Fully self contained, Sandy Loch Cottage offers an independent escape set in a tranquil location with its own private beach, and beautiful views across the lake to Mokoia Island and beyond surround the cottage. Sandy Loch Cottage is an original "Lockwood" design that has recently been completely refurbished. The section is such that a game of cricket or rugby before tea or simply pushing the kayak out for an explore is not out of the question. The cottage is 5 minutes from Rotorua's small regional airport, and fifteen minutes by car takes you from rural lakeside retreat to the heart of the CBD. Guest Accommodation and Facilities The main room is furnished with two leather recliners and a leather three seat lounge suite. Keep warm at night with a log burner, with all wood provided. The main room has a TV, DVD and satellite television. The kitchen is fully equipped with free standing stove / oven, fridge, microwave, jug and toaster, a full range of dinnerware, glassware and mugs, and all cooking utensils. The dining table is situated between the kitchen and the main room with views across the lawn and beach to Lake Rotorua and Mokoia Island. Bedrooms One double bedroom. Twin second bedroom. Both fitted with alarm/radio clocks and electric blankets. All linen supplied. Both bedrooms have lake views. Facilities Utility room with washing machine, ironing board and iron. The cottage is fully furnished, with all linen and other consumables such as washing powder and dishwashing liquid provided.
Standard Tariff NZD $200 per night per couple. extra adults $25 and children $15. Long stay tariffs negotiable. Sandy Loch Cottage offers a relaxed atmosphere while experiencing unique and diverse sightseeing, adventure and cultural options beyond those found anywhere else in New Zealand. | |||||||
