Planet Nomad Backpackers Rotorua was opened in April 1997. The hostel is purpose built with all clean and secure facilities, including a modern kitchen, laundry, e-mail access, and a courtyard with barbecue. Free beer, wine and coffee.
With its central Rotorua city location next to the bus station, many restaurants and food outlets are very close by.
The Polynesian Pools and Blue Baths are 5 minutes walk away, as are the supermarkets. We have a very active information desk, with many discounts available on various attractions and tours.
In fact, we can book your whole trip through New Zealand, saving many dollars through our market connections. We are members of Nomad International, which has 25 of the highest rated hostels in New Zealand where we can book you.
We have single rooms, double and twin rooms, quad and a large dorm. We have very clean separate male and female bathrooms and toilets, each with their own private compartment.
Many discounts are arranged with Rotorua Sightseeing and travel attractions. By taking advantage of concessions we can arrange for you, you'll save your accommodation money.
