Welcome to relaxed, tranquil and contemporary accommodation at Lake Okareka, a ten minute drive from central Rotorua. Suitable for a short or long break away, a spa or mountain bike retreat, family holiday, accommodation for wedding guests or as an ideal base to explore and discover the unique attractions of Rotorua and the surrounding Bay of Plenty.
The Cottage
The fully self contained cottage opens out onto a patio and garden which overlooks bush and farmland.
The cottage contains two Queen Beds, 100% cotton linen, bath, shower, washing machine, drier and kitchen facilities. Telephone, LCD TV, Satellite TV, Sky TV (on request), DVD and Broadband Access.
Eco friendly, with full under floor heating via a wood pellet furnace, maximum insulation, thermal drapes and double glazing.
Breakfast provisions provided by arrangement.

The Loft
The loft also has its own separate access and is intimate but spacious with ensuite, TV, DVD, SKY TV (on request) and kitchenette.
The king bed is dressed with "Thread Linen" and there is also ample room for a portacot.
Breakfast provisions provided by arrangement.

Things to Do
The lake is a 200m walk and there are a number of short walks and longer hikes in close proximity along with excellent mountain biking trails. A local Okareka spa offers an array of packages. There are two playgrounds within five minutes walk from the property. Lake Tarawera is a ten minute drive and offers fishing charters, cruises to the geothermal areas of the lake, gorgeous walks and a Cafe. The Blue Lake is a 2 minute drive and the Buried Village is five minutes away by car.
