Welcome to the perfect Rotorua retreat. Located only 15 minutes from Rotorua city, Kotare Lodge is situated on the shores of Lake Rotorua, assuring you of exquisite views across to the city and surrounding hills. Set in beautiful park-like grounds, our Lodge offers every comfort that caring, well travelled hosts can provide.
The Lodge faces the lake side with the guest suite rooms featuring beautiful views of the lake, Mokoia Island and the surrounding hills and mountains, and offers easy access to the lake edge and beach.
Accommodation and Facilities
The Guest accommodation is separate from hosts, and offers beautifully-appointed bedrooms - each with their own french door entrances and lovely views of lake and gardens. All our rooms are furnished with quality beds and linen. The Rimu Suite has a queen bedroom, a private bathroom, and decks that lead to the lake edge.
The secluded Garden Suite, separate from the main house, has a super king/twin bedroom. The spacious lounge offers a divan bed for one extra guest, tea / coffee making facilities with refrigerator, TV / DVD entertainment and ensuite bathroom.
Both bathrooms provide privacy and every comfort, including Toiletries, hairdriers, heated towel rails and robes.
There is an in-house audio/tv lounge for your enjoyment. This lounge also has beautiful views of the lake.
A delicious cooked breakfast is included in the tariff, and coffee, teas and home baking are always available!
Relax alfresco with tea and cookies, or with a complimentary aperitif and canapes in the summer, enjoying our lovely sunny garden and glorious lake views, or relax by the fire in winter.
