Located on the edge of geothermal Kuirau Park and just a five minute walk from the central city, this Rotorua backpackers comprises a lodge and a number of chalets. All rooms are clean and spacious with each chalet having its own bathroom and leading to a garden or private balcony. The chalet accommodation with private bathrooms are available in double, twin, triple and quad. The Lodge also has double, twin, triple and quad rooms and shared bathrooms. Tent and campervan sites are also available. Kiwi Paka is on the edge of Kuirau Park, out the back gate there are large steaming pools and bubbling mud. This is a free and delightful area to walk around. After a day of exploration, relax in the on-site thermal hot pool or the Café & Bar which is open daily for breakfast and dinner. The large hot thermal pool is a favourite. At approximately 40 degrees Celsius, it is a relaxing way to spend a few hours. Linen and Towels Beds are already made up for your convenience, however if you require a towel, a $5 refundable deposit is needed from you. Laundry Facilities There washers and dryers available for you to use, and a fresh air clothesline. Washing powder is available at reception for $1. The Aquatic Centre Kiwi Paka is right next door to the Aquatic Centre which has a 50 metre outdoor pool, an indoor pool and a child's pool. It is able to be used all year round. Luggage and Bike Storage There a garage on-site which you may use to store your bike as well as a free luggage storage. Other facilities:
