A warm welcome awaits you at Country Oaks, a Qualmark 4 star rated Bed and Breakfast. Situated just 10 kilometres from central Rotorua, off the Thermal Highway, our hillside location enjoys sweeping countryside and lake views. You will be close to many of Rotorua's top attractions whilst relaxing in peaceful, rural surroundings. Rotorua has something to offer everyone: from adrenalin-filled action to heavenly thermal spas, from world-class fishing to breathtaking gondola rides, from Maori culture to International cuisine.

We offer two tastefully furnished and comfortable rooms: one queen and one king or twin. Both have ensuite bathrooms, with complimentary toiletries, and fabulous views of our gardens and Lake Rotorua. There is a large guest lounge with tea and coffee making facilities,TV & DVD, indoor games and a library, for you to enjoy. Or you can wander around the gardens and have a chat with our little herd of cows and our chickens!

Guest Accommodation Rooms

King or Twin Room

The spacious king or Twin room is decorated in calm, warm, natural colours. The large windows look out to the gardens, the countryside and the lake beyond. It has an ensuite, with complimentary toiletries, and a walk-in wardrobe. You can relax here in privacy or enjoy the guest lounge and gardens.

Queen Room

Just off the guest lounge, the queen room has a little touch of Africa in its décor. With warm colours and comfortable furnishings, it looks out over the rose garden to the lake beyond. There is an ensuite bathroom, with complimentary toiletries.

Breakfast

Your tariff includes a cooked breakfast, which may include home-baked bread, homemade traditional English sausages and preserves, our own free-range eggs and seasonal fruit fresh from our garden. We are happy to cater for special dietary requests with prior notice.

Other meal arrangements.
With 24 hours notice we are happy to offer picnic lunches.

Too tired or too full to eat out? We can offer you a light supper on a tray (additional cost).

Bits and bobs

• Country Oaks is a non-smoking site.
• Ample off-street guest parking available.
• We are not able to cater for young children.
• Honey the dog, lives on the site (though not in the guest areas).

We are a well-travelled family with backgrounds in teaching agriculture, aviation and administration. Our goal is to ensure that your stay with us is comfortable, enjoyable and memorable for all the right reasons. We look forward to welcoming you to our home, Country Oaks.
