Established in 1979 Trelawn Place has been a haven of warm hospitality, comfort and a hearty breakfasts for nearly 30 years. As well as the elegantly traditional country house, Trelawn Place offers three self-contatined holiday cottages so as guests have the choice of bed and breakfast pampering within the main home, or the privacy and independance of the cottages all set among 2 acres of breathtaking county gardens and a view of spectacular proportions only 5 minutes drive from Central Queenstown!
Trelawn Place is an exceptional example of a traditional Queenstown country home, built from local schist rock and nestled in a dramatic landscape that captures the hearts of all the guests.
The Cottage.
The Cottage has two separate bedrooms, a bathroom with laundry facilities and a full kitchen. The upstairs room has a Queen bed and balcony, the small downstairs bedroom has two singles.
It is separated from the house by fruit trees for your privacy. There is comfortable seating around a cosy pot belly stove.
Outside on the patio, you can sit in the shade and watch the jet boats go past below as it is located with the Shotover river directly below.
A Juliet Balcony gives wonderful views from the main bedroom. Relax after a days adventure in our therapy spa pool at the edge of the lawn. This adds to the charm of the stone cottage and a memorable holiday. Climbing roses frame the door of your honeymoon hideaway.
The cottage is ideal for ski accommodation or for a small family.
The Cottage and Apartment are very popular so reservations are a good idea. Weekly rental rates available.
The Apartment
The Apartment is nestled cosily alongside the main house. Upstairs is the main bedroom with King Bed and a Juliet Balcony for those romantic evenings in the setting sun.
Downstairs is a full kitchen and a large living area with a single bed. Tastefully furnished, wih a Victorian fireplace and french doors that open onto a pergola and patio.
The Cherry Tree House.
The Cherry Tree House is especially luxurious, and with the best position at Trelawn for sun, views and privacy.
The two storied stone Cherry Tree House features chunky recycled beams, rough cast plaster interior and comfortable leather furniture. TV, DVD and a selection of books are provided for your entertainment.
Under floor electric heating and a gas fire will keep you cosy. The kitchen has a dish washer. The king sized bed room upstairs has a Juliet Balcony and windows on all sides. Generous heated tiled bathroom with tub and shower and a walk in wardrobe.
The patio with its Barbeque and outdoor furniture is the perfect place to relax in the summer evenings under the vines!
