Built in 1874 and listed with the New Zealand Historic Places Trust, this 4 bedroom Bed & Breakfast accommodation offers guests the opportunity to stay at one of Queenstown's unique and intimate heritage landmarks. The Historic Stonehouse is truly a 'home away from home' with its relaxed, cosy ambience and friendly service.

Breakfast
Alex and John provide a sumptuous Breakfast each morning with fresh fruit platters, cheese and meat platters, cereals, yoghurts, toast, jams, fruit juice, tea and coffee. Breakfast is served in a sunny and charming Breakfast Room.
Your Hosts
Together Alex and John have over 40 years hospitality experience. They have created an exceptionally friendly and relaxed ambience at The Historic Stonehouse which guests never fail to remark upon.
Itinerary and activity planning are a Stonehouse speciality. Alex and John have a wealth of local knowledge and are happy to liaise with local activity operators on your behalf - from a nerve wracking bungy jump to a more sedate cruise actross Lake Wakatipu .
