Koromiko Homestead offers you top quality bed and breakfast accommodation where you can relax and unwind, conveniently located between Picton, the magical Marlborough Sounds, and the vineyards, wineries, and fine dining of New Zealand's premier wine producing region. Set within ten acres of fields and gardens, this rural B&B is conveniently located a short distance off SH1.
On your arrival, join your hosts for a chat and share a pot of tea and freshly baked scones or muffins. Relax in this tranquil rural environment surrounded by green fields and hills. Stroll through the gardens and woodland walkway, listen to the native birds, smell the roses or sit quietly and absorb the beautiful setting.
Start your day leisurely, enjoy a delicious cooked breakfast served in your suite or alfresco on the garden deck in summer. Feast on fresh organic wholefoods, fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs from our gardens in season, newly laid eggs from our farm hens, home baked bread and home-made preserves.
At sundown, your hosts Pat and Ian invite you to join them outside on the garden deck or in the lounge, for a complimentary glass of award-winning Marlborough wine with nibbles before you dine out at one of the extensive choice of excellent restaurants within 30-minute radius. This is an ideal opportunity for you to find out about the wide range of activities available in the Marlborough region.
Guest Accommodation
We offer our self-contained, sunny ground floor guest wing, with separate entrance. This elegant and inviting accommodation includes a comfortable lounge, separate dining room and a well-equipped, compact kitchen with a selection of beverages, fridge and mini-bar.
Two queen-size bedrooms with adjacent private bathrooms have luxurious bed linen, wool under-lays and dual-control electric blankets. Bathrooms are complimented by soft towels and bathrobes, toiletries and hairdryer.
There are Ironing facilities, luggage racks, electric heaters for you convenience, multi-channel TV and a DVD player with a selection of DVDs in the guest lounge for your entertainment and wireless broadband to keep you connected.
All main rooms are sunny and warm, and look out onto the extensive gardens and hills beyond.
