Nestled amongst native trees on the golden sands of Sullivans Beach, in the Bay of Islands is a secluded and luxurious beach house, consisting of three separate apartments, the Penthouse, the Beach View, and the Beach Apartment. Relax and unwind amidst this tranquil setting with a pristine beach frontage and idyllic unspoiled views of the Bay of Islands. Lounge around on our quiet sun drenched patios or head down to the beach for a paddle, a fish, a swim or a row in our dinghy or kayaks. Sullivan's Beach is one of the few beaches in the Paihia region with no road traffic noise - your stay will be both peaceful and undisturbed. Our private pathway slopes down to a grassed area and the sandy beach. The water's edge is ideal for children and those preferring calmer waters to swim in. The township of Paihia is just around the corner and only a short, flat beach stroll away, offering numerous pastimes and dining experiences. For guests flying in from abroad we have a Toyota Spacio 4wd available for rent at Nz$50 (including insurance but excluding fuel) per day. For those guests looking for a 'fun' form of transport we also have available twin 50cc scooters, perfect for nipping into the township of Paihia. Penthouse If you are looking to enjoy an inexpensive, yet indulgent weekend retreat, have an intimate wedding arranged on the beach, a romantic honeymoon or a week's holiday away from the crowds, you have found the perfect place. This is a romantic and elegant apartment with a luxuriously appointed ensuite complete with a spa bath for two and a private sauna, with an outside shower under the stars! Your balcony overlooks truly idyllic island views of the Bay of Islands It's fully self-contained with kitchenette, modern amenities and outside barbeque, your apartment will allow you the complete freedom to tend your own needs. Wireless broadband internet access, a television, hifi system and DVD player, cater for lazy interludes. The Penthouse Apartment can sleep up to 2 people in style and luxury. An extra child's (under 10 yrs old) bed can be supplied for $35 per day. Beach View If you are looking to enjoy a luxurious, inexpensive stay with your close family or friends, this is your ultimate apartment. With rimu floors, with large persian rugs in an open plan living, the Beach View is like a home on the water (without the rocking). Complete with wireless internet tv, dvd, sound system for those lazy days. The lounge has an open fire place, 6 seating dining area, kitchen with 4 burner gas stove and oven, microwave and dishwasher, and the Queen bedroom, are all overlooking the islands and the beaches of the Bay. The spacious outdoor tiled deck area, has a big 5 burner BBQ and outside seating for 6 people around a big glass table with awning to cover for sun and rain, meals can be served from the kitchen thru the window area. Beach Apartment The spacious and tastefully appointed two bedroom apartment provides everything you need to make your stay a pleasurable and relaxing one. Great for a family with kids. We are even pet friendly in this apartment. Its fully equipped kitchen for easy meal preparation, modern amenities, outdoor BBQ area, and a wide sun-catching patio with extensive views of the Bay of Islands are just some of the desirable features on offer. Wireless broadband internet access, a television and DVD player, cater for lazy interludes. This apartment has an outside shower, handy when you come from the beach. The Beach Apartment will accommodate 4 people in comfort and convenience. If required, an extra bed per room can be supplied for $35 per person per day.
