The River Lodge is approximately 8 kms from Ohakune, situated between Whakapapa, Turoa and Tukino ski fields. Turoa being the main ski field and a short drive up the mountain. It is also centrally located to the key trout fishing river systems of Whakapapa, Whanganui and Rangitikei river systems.
Nestled in tranquil gardens sheltered by native Beech trees, The River Lodge enjoys the spectacular view of Turoa Ski field on breathtaking Mount Ruapehu. Take the time to enjoy one of New Zealand's first class wines and watch the lights of ski field twinkling in the distance.
