Milcrest Estate is a small boutique vineyard, privately owned by Terry Milton and Christine Cook, situated in Hope, Nelson at the top of New Zealand's South Island. It is located at the foothills of the Richmond Ranges and was established in 2006. Guests enjoy luxury accommodation, with a unique "perspective" of New Zealand and our vibrant Nelson wine region, amidst Milcrest Estate's operational vineyard, which captures stunning views over the vineyard and towards Mount Arthur and the Richmond Ranges. Nelson consistently records and enjoys the highest sunshine hours in New Zealand. We offer a high standard of personal accommodation for up to four guests, in a relaxing, intimate environment, with a choice of two beautifully appointed suites. The estate is located away from any main roads within a beautiful boutique vineyard setting, yet is only 6 minutes from Richmond, 15 minutes from the airport and 18 minutes from Nelson city. Enjoy stunning views of vineyard, surrounding mountain ranges. Guest Accommodation Staying in either our Pinot Noir Suite or our Sauvignon Blanc Suite, you will enjoy premium New Zealand luxury accommodation within Nelson's thriving wine region. On arrival you will receive a complimentary bottle of Milcrest Estate Pinot Noir or Sauvignon Blanc. Enjoy spacious open plan living with comfortable leather lounge suites, king size posturepaedic beds, and separate fully appointed bathroom. In the rooms there are tea and coffee making facilities, a microwave and fridge, as well as your own private courtyard and BBQ to enjoy the magnificent views and excellent Nelson weather. On-site boutique wine tasting and off-licence sales of wines made from grapes grown on the property. There are 10 wineries within a 6km radius and the estate is only 40 minutes from Abel Tasman National Park, while also being a short 10 minute drive to the beach. Pick up and drop off to Nelson airport by your fantastic hosts is available on request. | |||||||
