The HawkesBury Cottages are nestled in the heart of Hawke's Ba. Our superior accomodation consists of the Cottage which sleeps 4 people and the Loft that is two storied and has one queen sized bedroom. Both are surrounded by paddocks and orchards set in the grounds of an old established garden, with the towns of Napier, Hastings and Havelock North between 5-10 minutes drive away.
Many of 'the Bay's' renowned wineries are minutes away as well as other attractions such as the Gannet Colony, Cape Kidnappers Golf Course and the Art Deco city of Napier.
Hawkesbury Cottages also has facilities available if you are travelling with your horses. Being close to Hastings, this is the perfect place to base yourself for the annual Horse of the Year, the Southern Hemisphere's largest equestrian event.
Accommodation
Both the Cottage and the Loft are set within a lovely old established garden with expansive lawns and beautiful mature trees. Once through the main gate it can become hard to believe that Napier, Hastings and Havelock North are only a short drive away.
Each has its own charm, the Cottage contains parts dating back to the late 1800's, it has been recently extensively renovated, though it has been tastefully done in keeping with its character and charm. The Loft which is adjacent to the main house has a modern yet cosy feel and being two storied has lovely views over the distant hills. character.
