Built in 2005, Aoraki/Mount Cook Alpine Lodge is set in Mt Cook village in the heart of majestic Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park New Zealand. Our affordable accommodation suits an array of travelers from international visitors to Kiwi families and couples, who enjoy a peaceful environment.
Hugged by mountains and surrounded by native bush and bird life, the lodge is the perfect place to relax. Unwind in the lounge or on the deck, and soak up the amazing mountain views!
The Lodge Accommodation
Mount Cook locals Tony and Adele Delaney wanted to offer a new high-quality accommodation option for visitors, one which had the comforts of home, at affordable prices. This came to fruition in September 2005 - the first new accommodation built in Aoraki/ Mount Cook in nearly 50 years!
The modern well appointed 16 room lodge can cater for up to 44 guests, and provides a range of accommodation options and all rooms have ensuite bathrooms. It's spacious kitchen and lounge are a natural focal point for guests to soak up the dramatic view.
Double or Twin Rooms - Have either king size bed or two singles, en suite bathroom, flat panel tv/dvd/cd player, tea and coffee making facilities and superb mountain views including Mount Cook
Studio rooms with Kitchenette - The "best rooms in the house". Studio rooms are slightly larger, and feature a king size bed or two singles.

Front Facing Family Rooms - These rooms are upstairs with awesome views. Has one king size bed (or two singles) plus a bunk set (in the same room) with en suite bathroom, flat screen tv/dvd/cd player and tea and coffee making facilities. Fabulous views including Mount Cook. These rooms are ideal for Mum, Dad and two children and comfortably sleeps three adults.
Bunk Room - Our bunk room is made up with linen - sleeping bags are not required. Towels, washcloths, soap, and shampoo are provided.
Facilities
All Aoraki Mt Cook Alpine Lodge rooms have ensuite bathrooms. Our fully equipped kitchen is ideal for those wishing to self cater, and if you need breakfast supplies, or other essentials, we have a small shop located at reception.
The lounge is a fabulous place to unwind. soak up spectacular views of Mt Cook during the day. In the evening relax by the log burner fire, choose a book from the library or watch the big screen TV (with SKY satellite). DVD players and DVD's available.
