Welcome to Whare hoa hoa Retreat. The Retreat is a large fully self contained house with beautifully appointed rooms, and offers luxury accommodation and relaxed atmosphere within a beautiful established garden. Whare hoa hoa Retreat (House of Friends) is ideally located within an easy walk to the town, and is rented on a per night basis for your exclusive use.
Accommodation and Facilities
There are four bedrooms with five bathrooms. Each room enjoys views over the garden or the Martinborough hills. Choose from either King, Queen or single beds, with crisp white linen, luxury towels, with a Continental breakfast as part of the individual service.
Take advantage of each room - a TV room with full HD TV with My Sky included. Dine in the French dining room and sit by the cosy, large stone fireplace or have a glass of wine in the lovely lounge and listen to a CD. Enjoy the large country kitchen which provides a dishwasher and microwave. Enjoy the garden and sit amongst the roses or enjoy a very short walk to Martinborough village to the local cafes or a bike ride to the vineyards for a glass of wine.
There is a sheltered verandah which has comfortable couches or chairs to curl up on and a BBQ available.

Situated on the edge of Martinborough township we are ideally located within easy reach of the vineyards, just minutes from first class restaurants, boutique shopping, river and sea fishing, local walks, local arts and crafts, with Martinborough golf course just around the corner together with many other leisure activities available in the South Wairarapa District.
Weddings and Functions
In an idyllic garden setting, Whare hoa hoa Retreat, grounds, and gardens can be used for photography, pre-reception drinks and even the wedding cremony itself.
In a reception marquee seating up to 130, or for a smaller more intimate wedding the Whare hoa hoa Retreat is available for you and your guests to enjoy a tailor-made wedding comprising of the freshest local produce, complemented by internationally renowned wines.
