Kepler Mountain View offers a choice between 3 self contained holiday cottages along with Bed and Breakfast accommodation. Located at Lake Manapouri with stunning views over the Kepler, Hunter, Takitimu and Eyre Mountains, Kepler Mountain View is the perfect place to base yourself while visiting Milford and Doubtful Sounds and exploring Fiordland. At Kepler Mountain View we offer guests several options: Bed and Breakfast staying in one of our two guest rooms, self catering in our self contained one bedroom cottage at Kepler Mountain View or self catering in one of our two new self contained purpose built 2 and 3 bedroom cottages in the Manapouri township. Kepler Mountain View is a 5 acre lifestyle property at Lake Manapouri along the Southern Scenic Route on the fringe of the Manapouri township. We have 4 young alpaca pets, along with our small Wiltshire flock on our property along with a small hazelnut and cherry orchard. We also have a very friendly Tabby cat called Tiger who doesn't hesitate to greet our guests. Your hosts, Jessie and Ray are both involved in working in Fiordland National Park and can help you with planning your trip to maximise your time while exploring Fiordland National Park and the surrounding Te Anau Basin. Accommodation OptionsKepler Mountain View Bed and Breakfast Stay as a guest in one of our two queen guest bedrooms. Each bedroom has floor to ceiling windows and french doors opening onto a large deck looking right into Fiordland National Park. Step out onto the deck at night time from your room to enjoy the magnificent star lit sky on clear nights. Luxurious down duvets make for a warm cosy night's sleep, wool or synthetic duvets are also available upon request. Continental breakfast comprises of freshly baked croissants, a range of cereals, yoghurt, fruit, toast and spreads, freshly ground coffee and a range of teas along with fruit juice. Kepler Mountain View Cottage Kepler Mountain View Cottage, located adjacent to our house, is a fully self contained one bedroom cottage with open plan living/dining/kitchen area. The bedroom has a queen bed with stunning views over the Kepler Mountains. The outdoor living area complete with gas BBQ and outdoor furniture, looks onto the Kepler, Hunter and Takitimu Mountains. Gardens separate Kepler Mountain View Cottage from our house to enable privacy for guests. Motu-Au Close Cottages These 2 new fully self contained modern luxury cottages each on individual sections in the heart of the Manapouri township opened in October 2010. Motu-Au Close cottages are located a small quiet cul-de-sac, and are an easy 2 minute walk to the Doubtful Sound departure point or to the lake itself. Each cottage has an outdoor living area with gas BBQs and outdoor furniture. Both cottages have garaging for storage of your vehicle and each cottage is set up with complimentary food items and toiletries. No 16 is a two bedroom cottage, while no 18 has three bedrooms. Both cottages have ensuited master bedrooms. For your entertainment both cottages have a large flat screen TV and DVD system with a selection of DVDs, books and games. | ||||||||
