Wharepuke Subtropical Accommodation are family run eco cottages in Kerikeri. These stylish self catering cottages are nestled amongst 2 hectares of award winning subtropical garden.
Food at Wharepuke is a fully licensed Cafe and Restaurant offering Thai inspired and Modern European Cuisine. Judged Northland Cafe of the Year 2011.
Art at Wharepuke is a purpose built gallery exhibiting Internationally recognised printmaking and quality works in other mediums
The Cottages
The 5 one bedroom self catering cottages are designed for 2 people but can sleep 4, with a Superking bed or twin long singles in the bedroom and a slat fold-out sofa bed in the living room.
Cottages are individually furnished with original art and each have a large personal deck overlooking the grounds. Kitchenettes have a 2 plate hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, utensils and crockery.

Location
We're within walking distance of the bustling boutique village of Kerikeri, Stone Store, Mission House, Maori Pa, replica Maori village, the river and nature reserves.
Thirty minute's drive could encompass; the Bay of Islands, Waitangi or Paihia, numerous artisans, local specialty food and wine shops, 3 spectacular golf courses and beaches.
Eco Accommodation
Our green accommodation cottages are purposefully designed for energy conservation. We use available local goods and services, organic cleaners and products and attempt to save water energy and detergents by encouraging reuse of sheets and towels by guests. We recycle rubbish and our own sewerage system bio-treats waters which end up back on the garden. We also offer local and organic food/drinks where possible.
