The retreat offers a top quality range of Spa and beauty therapies as well as free meditation, and qi gong for guests every morning. Renew and re-nergise with a herbal cleanse and bathe in the spring pool under the tree ferns near the river. Soak in the local hot mineral pools and visit giant kauri in the forests nearby.
The Valley is a hidden paradise, off the beaten track but is easy to reach by car, bus or plane.

Work Exchange
At the Valley Retreat, we offer free board for health practitioners, teachers or people with experience working at a retreat centre who would like to give their time to help with the general running of Valley Retreat. This includes housekeeping, gardening, maintenance. And of course, enjoy the setting of this tranquil paradise!
