Welcome to the luxury of simply stunning Huntaway Lodge and Retreat. These contemporary cedar beach houses have unrivalled views of Te Ngaere Bay and Cavalli Islands. Accommodation in the Lodge All rooms offer privacy and have expansive sea views with double doors opening out onto their own deck space. Each room has a TV/DVD/CD player with specially compiled chill out CDs, tea/coffee facility, fridge, beach towels and bathrobes. The lodge living room is contemporary, bright and comfortable. Furniture such as the inlaid Rimu wood dining table, unique artworks and stylish soft furnishings demonstrate our attention to detail. The room is fully equipped with flat screen satellite TV/DVD player and music system. The Lodge and Retreat have wireless internet access throughout. Retreat Living The Retreat, recently built and furnished to a high specification, comprises open-planned living with two premier en-suite bedrooms all fully equipped with the latest flat screen satellite TV/DVD/CD technology. The Retreat offers wide, panoramic views of the bays and can be booked as a house or two premier suites. Perfect for the special occassions. Dining Fresh, distinctive flavours, local organic produce where possible and food in harmony with our environment, is the essence of our cuisine. Menus are tailored to suit guests' tastes and dietary needs. The view from our dining table is spectacular. Imagine sitting down to wine and dine with the views of Te Ngaere and Piapia bays as your panoramic backdrop. Infinity Spa With room for four, the spa has a combination of 39 water and air jets designed to blow your mind. The spa is surounded by a generous hardwood deck carved into basal boulders, and the view from the spa is breathtaking and stretches out across the Pacific Ocean to the horizon and infinity. Why not try some bubbly with your bubbles? Golfing and Activity Heaven Wonderful scenic attractions abound in Northland and guests can take advantage of visiting Ninety Mile beach, Tane Mahuta (the world's largest Kauri tree) or diving the Rainbow Warrior. Visit historic Russell and the Waitangi Treaty House or just relax and enjoy the local art and wine trails or the local farmers market. Kauri Cliffs Golf Course is just 10 minutes drive from our door. There are also several other great golf clubs nearby offering magnificent views, and some of New Zealand's most spectacular holes, all within a maximum of 1 hours drive.
