Austin Heights is located on a prime elevated site on the Kaikoura Peninsula. Set amongst prize winning gardens and central to all major attractions and marine life.
Lovely spacious apartments which are private & peaceful with stunning views of the Kaikoura ranges and the Pacific ocean coastline.
Opening directly out onto a balcony where our guests enjoy relaxing with a nice glass of local wine and admiring the stunning vista.
Our family apartment is on the ground level and is very suitable for a family of 4 or a couple.
It is spacious and private with a separate bedroom fitted with a double & a single bed. Plus there is a double sofa bed available when required.
Kitchenette with a microwave, fridge and facilities.
The bathroom has a shower over the bath. Private toilet.
The lounge area has a TV/DVD & movies, stereo/CD player, wireless internet available.
Entertainment for the children. BBQ and lawn area
Lynne & John, your friendly Kiwi hosts have had nine years experience welcoming guests from all around the World into their home. Our Guest Book contains a wealth of comments that are testament to the service we provide.
We are central to all major attractions like Whale-watching, Dolphin & Seal swimming, Albatross & bird trips, 4WD motor bike rides, the town center with a wonderful Art & Craft scene plus good quality restaurants. Austin Heights is walking distance to the Seal Colony and the start of the beautiful coastal Peninsula walkway.
Plus the beach is only a 10 min walk from here.
At the end of your fun packed day you may like to indulge in our Luxury Hydro Therapy outdoor Spa and admire the night sky. Private parking space and laundry facilities available. Complimentry pick-up from bus or train.
Rooms:
Our upstairs apartments have one of the best views available in Kaikoura. All double glazed windows & doors with good heating plus they catch the all day sun.
Large glass doors open directly out onto a balcony which is furnished with table & chairs for guests to relax and admire the stunning views.
Each apartment has all the comforts of home including Sky/TV, Wireless Internet, stereo/CD player, DVD/movies and local books to read should you need them. Dining & lounge suite.
Bathrobes & toiletries, heated towel rails, ceiling fans, heating, kitchenette's with a fridge, microwave, cutlery, dishes & tea & coffee facilities etc, plus complimentry beer, wine, biscuits & chocolates.
No children in these apartments.
Guests have the choice of having their breakfast in the privacy of their own room or joining their hosts Lynne & John for a nice chat around the dining table in the comfort of their living area which is accessible from the guests balcony. We serve a generous breakfast at a suitable time for guests of fresh or stewed fruit, 4 different cereals, yogurt, fruit juice, croissants or toast, tea and coffee or a full cooked English breakfast with bacon, eggs, sausages, hash browns, tomatoes, mushrooms etc and tea & coffee.
