Austin Heights Quality Bed & Breakfast is situated on the Kaikoura Peninsula with a Panoramic view of the Kaikoura Seaward Mountains and the Pacific Ocean & Coastline. It is peaceful and private and yet still central to all local attractions and Marine life activities.
Austin Heights Bed & Breakfast accommodation is set amongst prize-winning gardens, which our guests enjoy strolling around when they have the time. We have lovely spacious apartments which are private & peaceful with stunning views of the Kaikoura ranges and the Pacific ocean coastline. Our Apartments open directly out onto a balcony where our Guests enjoy relaxing with a glass of local wine and admiring the stunning vista.
Guests have the choice of having their breakfast in the privacy of their own room or joining their hosts Lynne & John for a nice chat around the dining table in the comfort of their living area which is accessible from Guests balcony. We serve a generous breakfast at a suitable time for guests of fresh or stewed fruit, 4 different cereals, yogurt, fruit juice, croissants or toast, tea and coffee or a full cooked English breakfast with bacon, eggs, sausages, hash browns, tomatoes, mushrooms etc and tea & coffee.

Deluxe Mount Fyffe Apartment
Enjoy the breath-taking view of the Kaikoura Mountain ranges and Pacific Coastline from your room or balcony. Private entrance & parking space available. Spacious & private Suite with a Luxury S. King bed fitted with an electric blanket and a wool rest.
- Ensuite shower with hairdryer, bathrobes, toiletries, quality towels & face cloths.
- Kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, toaster, cutlery & dishes, tea & coffee facilities.
Garden and Mountain View Apartment
Spacious self contained Family Apartment on the ground level, opening out to a private garden area with a BBQ area and a lovely outlook of the Kaikoura Mountain ranges. This apartment is private and spacious and has a sunny bedroom with a comfortable Double and a single bed plus there is a 3/4 sofa bed available when required. Suitable for a family of up to 4 people.
- The kitchenette has a fridge, conventional microwave/oven, hotplate, toaster, pot, cutlery & dishes, kettle plus tea & coffee facilities.
- Dining & lounge area with a 28 inch flat screen digital TV, stereo/CD player, DVD/movies plus some entertainment for the children.
- The bathroom has a shower over the bath, a vanity, heater, toiletries, towels, face cloths, bathrobe.

Things to Do
Your hosts Lynne and John are happy to arrange bookings and activities for our Guests for the Dolphin, Seal & Albatross Encounters, Whalewatching, fishing Charters, quad bikes etc.
We are walking distance to to the Seal colony which is one of the most visited points in New Zealand. The start of the beautiful Coastal Peninsula walkway is just a short distance away. The beach front is a 10 minute walk from Austin Heights.
