Austin Heights Quality Bed & Breakfast is situated on the Kaikoura Peninsula with a panoramic view of the Kaikoura Seaward Mountains and the Pacific Ocean & coastline. It is peaceful and private, and yet still central to all local attractions and marine life activities. We offer Bed and Breakfast, and spacious self contained apartments.

Austin Heights is surrounded with prize-winning gardens which glows with color most of the year around. Guests enjoy strolling around or just relaxing in the garden setting with a nice class of wine. Lynne and John, your friendly Kiwi Hosts are happy to arrange bookings for all local attractions with prior notice. Enjoy Whalewatching, Dolphin & Seal swimming, Albratross encouters, fishing charters, Maori tours, quad bikes etc.
The beach is only a few minutes walk away. A five minute drive to the town center with its popular Restaurants, Cafes and Art & Craft shops etc. We also have a complimentry pick-up from the bus or train with prior notice.
Guest Accommodation
Austin Heights offer three spacious and private self-contained apartments with all the comforts of home, plus our new Mountain and Roses room, which is a private bedroom & bathroom in your hosts home.
The Deluxe Mount Fyffe & the Coastal View Apartments are spacious self-contained units upstairs, with sunny balconies with panoramic views of the Kaikoura Mountain Ranges and the Pacific Ocean & coastline.
The Garden and Mountain View Apartment is self-contained and is situated on the ground level, and opens out to a private garden and lawn area with a nice outlook of the Mountains & rural land. Outside table & chairs provided.
