Innovative, NZ's First, Covered Complex Site
Jacksons Campervan Retreat Holiday Park is unique, a New Zealand first and an innovation award winner for our complex of 8 covered sites.
The large purpose built barns provide a covered retreat from the rain or snow. Campervans and tents park or pitch in private bays. Each bay has a large window so our stunning landscape can still be viewed, whether it's snow-capped mountains or waterfalls and native rainforest full of New Zealand native birds and wildlife.
All sites, outside or undercover, overlook the mighty Taramakau River.
Self-Contained Unit
At Jacksons Retreat you may choose the comfort of our two storey, three bedroom self-contained unit. It sleeps up to 9 persons and has a cosy log fire. Full linen, coffee, tea, sugar and milk all supplied!

The large central shared living spaces incorporate a stunning dining area and fully self-catered kitchens with cooking facilities, cutlery and dishes, just in case you have misplaced your own! Modern comfortable lounge chairs and sofas are placed for the views, warmth and ambience of the log fire in winter.
At the retreat our guests and the environment are cared for using environmentally friendly products. The ultra clean and modern glassed hot high pressure shower areas are a delight. Hair dryers are available for the ladies, and in the men's, shaving mirrors are provided. The shower and toilet areas are heated in the winter for your comfort.
When you stay with us, you can be assured of a unique and relaxing experience, not only in the detailed facilities, but in our dedication to providing outstanding customer services and ensuring all or guests have a wonderful stress-free time!
A small pantry shop is at the office and the organic vegetable surplus from our tunnel house is most sought after.
