Arapata Lodge is a luxurious three bedroom, self contained home for those wanting the tranquility of a rural setting with the convenience of being just a three minute drive from Havelock North Village. Unwind as you drive up the magnificent driveway of 100 year old Plane trees, past the majestic presence of the original Arapata Homestead and discover Arapata Lodge. This accommodation was originally the 'Gardeners Cottage' and has recently been transformed into a luxurious three bedroom lodge with a stunning rural vista. Soak up the quiet atmosphere of a rural garden setting while enjoying your complimentary breakfast on the verandah. The Lodge is 10 minutes from the famous wine growing Gimblett Gravels, 20 minutes from beautiful white sandy swimming beaches and 5 minutes from restaurants, shops and our own roastery and coffee shop, Hawthorne Coffee. Facilities Arapata Lodge has three luxuriously appointed bedrooms, sleeping a total of six people, and extra accommodation is available in a converted loft in the barn 10 metres from the lodge. The lodge is fully air-conditioned, with tiled showers, baths and underfloor heating. We also have a fabulous outdoor Star Bath! There is a fully equipped open plan kitchen, 12 seater dining table, gas BBQ and outdoor seating for fantastic alfresco dining. There is an open fire in the lounge, with Sky TV and entertainment system. Children are welcome and meals can be catered for on request.
