At the end of a day exploring the glaciers or admiring the natural beauty of this region, the Heartland Hotel Glacier Country has a cozy and welcoming restaurant & bar perfect for unwinding and relaxing with a glass of wine or a tasty bar meal. The fully-licensed Sir William Fox Restaurant & Bar, complete with a welcoming open fire, is open for breakfast from 6:30am until 9:30 am and a la carte evening dining from 6pm until 9pm.

Heartland Hotel Glacier Country is located in Fox Glacier village, and is the ideal place to stay if you here to see this remarkable attraction - we are just three kilometres from glacier car park. No visit to Fox Glacier is complete without experiencing the glacier itself. Walks, guided expeditions and scenic flights will give you an appreciation of the magnificence of the icy mass which runs 13kms and falls some 2,600 metres from its neve in the Southern Alps to its terminal in the temperate rainforest.
