Welcome to the Victoria Hotel Dunedin. The Victoria Hotel has been fully refurbished and redecorated to a very high standard, and provides 40 guest rooms, including 2 suites and one two bedroom unit. We also provide a restaurant, a function room, two bars and a gaming area. Its central location is a block from George Street (Dunedin's main street) and less than 3 blocks from the Octagon.
Access to the Hotel is via Cumberland Street, oneway system from the south or from St Andrew Street from the north which has secure off-street car parking. The Victoria Hotel Dunedin features a glass-walled lift to the fourth floor giving excellent view over our beautiful city.
Accommodation
Our rooms are on 4 floors and very centrally located in the complex. We have a lift and stairs access to all floors. Our rooms provide excellent decor, a 27 inch LCD TV, radio and alarm and telephone and very comfortable leather chairs. A refrigerator, iron, an ironing board and a hair dryer are provided in each room, and with new drapes and decor, including card key locks, we really wish your stay to be extremely comfortable. Our rates are both competitive and reasonable.
Facilities
Victoria's Cafe - Open daily, this comfortable bar area has one large state-of-the-art plasma TV, with lots of nz timber, creating a wonderful and very pleasant environment. A snack menu is available.
Rosie's Bar - Open daily, this bar is super comfy, stylish and hosts 14 brand new gaming machines, and a 42 inch plasma TV. A gas fire and leather couches make this bar a pleasure to be enjoyed!
Restaurant - Open every morning for breakfast from 7am and every evening from 5pm. Lunches are served in Victoria's Cafe. Private group bookings are welcome and our Sunday night our family buffet is sensational.
Function Room - Prior bookings are essential, but our larger room is excellent for meetings and conferences for up to 100 people, and the upstairs boardroom is perfect for private meeting for up to 20 people. Broadband internet connection is available.
Guest Services
We have photocopy and fax services, and of course broadband internet connection available at the reception, and we are always happy to try to assist in any other way if we can. All guestrooms are tuned into Sky TV, and drycleaning services and breakfast in bed also available.
Our reception is available from 7am to 11pm daily and a duty manager or night porter is available during the night. Your room ke opens the external rear door after hours.
